The debate right now is whether Trump should be on allow the ballots. Most sane people believe that Trump incited an insurrection which disqualifies him from running for President. I mean, yeah, of course right?

To this you’ll hear a chorus of “let the voters decide!” “it’s undemocratic!”.

To which I’ll respond: Are you kidding me? Trump, who was trying to get rid of Obama by claiming he wasn’t born in the US? The dude the most undemocratic candidate we’ve ever had in the White House.

Are we a nation of laws or are we not?

Of course it’s undemocratic. If the Founders trusted the voters they would have never included that Amendment in the first place.

Not only that, but it really is the MOST important law. The one that says you’ll uphold ALL the laws. Democracy or death. The beating bloody heart of America and all Americans. Or, at least it was.

But many have given up.

And really who is to blame them? We simply have TOO much freedom now. Too many books, too many tv shows, too many genders, too many ways to love each other. It’s gross and immoral. </sarcasm>

Yeah, but things are so expensive!?!?

Hmm.. why is that? Could it be the trillions of dollars the Fed under Trump poured into the economy during the pandemic only to be unleashed when the economy reopened? And clearly the Fed is doing the right things to get it under control. Lessons were learned from the Carter era and it shows.

And did anyone stop to think about corporations using the opportunity to grab all that sweet liquidity? Some are, but not enough. Americans are trained to trust Capitalism to a fault. And yeah, will the price of chips self correct eventually? Of course. CEOs lining their pockets isn’t sustainable. Smaller chip companies WILL eventually chip away at marketshare forcing them to compete.

But what of the Country in the meantime? Are we willing to sacrifice our Democracy for cheaper chips.

I’ll be chastised here for being dramatic. But I’ve done my homework. I’ve read the books and studied my life and times like a hawk. We are in danger.
